Dear readers,

Please accept my sincere apologies for not keeping this blog updated over the past 18 months. I’ve made a commitment to keep this updated as we go along and I hope that the coming posts will keep you informed of the labour laws landscape in Malaysia.

My next post will be on the new public holiday declared in Johor on 23rd March 2015, replacing the Sultan’s Birthday – which happens to be a non-replaceable holiday under s.60D of the Employment Act 1955. Stay tuned!
